I design for women who are fearless, who has the courage to go back in their secret garden and play with butterflies, who aren’t scared of losing their selves in pursuing their dreams, women who are willing to admit that they are terrified, women who will eat ice cream at the middle of the night, not caring if they’ll gain a pound or two, exquisitely, imperfect women. Just like how a little girl isn’t afraid of mixing and matching colors. She’ll cry.. but will fight for what she desires. She is feminine, sweet and kind but reckless and feisty on the inside. If little girls are caterpillars, these women are butterflies who aren’t afraid to flaunt their beauty through their wings, the clothes that they wear everyday, the dresses & the gowns. She upholds a captivating innocence that is utterly enchanting.

I’m so used to having gaps in between each of the films, usually five or six months. After this last film ended, around that point, I sort of started getting this itch. It was like, “Okay, I’m ready to go back now.” And then I realized I wasn’t .. That was really the moment where I had to come to terms with - it’s so difficult to process.
